Pop-Up Blocking for the Blackboard course platform.
While using Blackboard, you need to disable pop-up
blocking for your Blackboard course platform server.
Pop-up blockers work in the background while you browse

be an unwanted advertisement, they automatically close
the window. This can prevent the Blackboard course
platform from performing properly.
To disable pop-up blockers for the Blackboard course
platform:
Search your hard drive for any software with
"pop-up" in the name. Disable it or set your the
following Blackboard course platform servers as
allowed sites.

c) http://stenograph.blackboard.com
Examples of popular pop-up blocking applications
include:
a) Pop-Up Stopper
b) Pop-Up Defender
c) Pop-Up Zapper
Pop-up blocking functions are included in some
anti-virus, internet security, personal firewall,
and browser programs. Disable the relevant setting
in the program or set your the above Blackboard
course platform servers as allowed sites. Examples
of programs that include pop-up blocking functions
include the following:
a) Norton Internet Security
b) Zone Alarm Pro
c) Google Toolbar
d) Yahoo! Toolbar
e) MSN Toolbar
f) AOL 8.0 and later
g) Safari browser
h) Microsoft Windows XP, Service Pack 2
